The pool area was a perfect chill spot after a long day, and I loved the cozy seating by the fire pit. Relaxing by the beach and enjoying the sunrise from my room were definite highlights. The Wi-Fi was a bit slow at times, but overall, I really enjoyed my stay! 🌅

In my kids’ opinion, the pool could have been a bit larger for everyone to enjoy.

The room was a disaster from the start. I walked in and there were roaches everywhere. Like, I couldn't even unpack. The floor was dirty, and the smell was just awful. The stove didn’t work, and the dresser was broken. I mentioned the roach issue, and they just offered another room that had more bugs! My kid was scared. Didn’t feel clean or safe at all.

During my stay, I found the room to be clean and surprisingly spacious, which made it comfortable for my senior needs. The location was just across from the beach, allowing easy access to enjoy the sun.

More accessible amenities for seniors would be helpful.

Roach motel

This place was a nightmare! The door wouldn't lock right, bugs everywhere, and gross smells. The staff was nice, but the owner didn’t care about our complaints. We got bugs in the shower and a broken fridge! We were so freaked out, we couldn't enjoy our stay! At least the beach was close.

I stayed for three nights in a King Room. The bed was large and comfortable. The pool area was clean and relaxing. Staff members were friendly and helpful. Great value for the price! ☀️

Friendly staff but cleanliness issues

The staff were genuinely nice and tried their best to assist us during our stay. However, the room we were given had significant cleanliness problems, including a lingering unpleasant odor, broken furnishings, and unwanted insects. It would greatly improve if management focused more on maintenance and cleanliness to create a better environment for guests.

The room had strong potential with updated furnishings, but the reality was disappointing. Two nearly overlapping beds were uncomfortable, and the fridge did not work. Hygiene was a significant issue. the shower revealed lizards and roaches, and there was a terrible smell throughout the room. Although the staff were friendly and accommodating, the lack of responsiveness from management to resolve the bug problem was incredibly frustrating during our stay.

I booked a room at Shore Winds Motel recently. The location is fantastic, right across from the beach. Easy access to the sand made our mornings enjoyable. The room felt clean, although there was a slight musty smell initially. The staff seemed friendly and accommodating, which was a plus. However, the room had a few problems. The air conditioning struggled to cool the space adequately, making some nights uncomfortable. The bathroom fixtures were a bit outdated, and there was a consistent need for better water pressure during showers. Parking felt cramped, especially during peak hours. Overall, it was a decent stay, but some updates could really enhance the experience.
